HAGERSTOWN, Md. – The Frederick Community College men's basketball team hit the road on Wednesday night in search of their first win as they traveled to Hagerstown CC to battle the Hawks. FCC battled in the first half trailing 32-25 after 20 minutes of play. In the end, it would be the HCC earning the 68-53 victory over the Cougars. FCC sits at 0-4 on the season as the Hawks improve to 3-8.
FCC registered two players in double-figures on the night. Alexander Williams registered a team-high 17 points (6-of-17) while Adrian Adlam poured in 14 points (4-of-12). Jack McGaha led FCC with eight rebounds.
The Cougars were cold from the field shooting just 22.6% (14-of-62) in the loss. Malik Jordan scored a game-high 19 points in the win for HCC. Hagerstown cleaned up on the glass, outrebounding the Cougars 56-33.
