Bio

Natalia Woods has been appointed Athletic Academic Support Advisor/Compliance Assistant at Frederick Community College. The announcement was made by Rodney Bennett, the Director of Athletics, on June 10, 2024. With a wealth of experience in athletic administration and a track record of working closely with students, faculty, and staff, she is expected to foster an environment that promotes academic excellence and personal growth. Having previously worked at the NCAA Division One level, Mrs. Woods is passionate about supporting student success and enhancing the student-athlete experience at Frederick Community College. 

Before joining Frederick Community College, she was an Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance and Inclusive Excellence at Mount St. Mary’s University, as well as the Director of Academics and Student-Athlete Development. 

Prior to her career in collegiate athletic administration, she worked as a Registered Behavior Technician at The Language & Behavior Center in Silver Spring and as an Administrative Assistant with the Frederick City Police Department. 

Natalia Woods, a former student-athlete in track & field at Mount St. Mary's, earned her Master of Business Administration in 2018 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2017 from the same institution. 

Natalia, along with her husband, Julian, and their dog, Mila resides in Frederick County.
