PGCC Owls Outlasts Cougars Men's Basketball 74-70

The Frederick Community College men's basketball team fell to Prince George's Community College Owls, 74-70, Wednesday evening. Malik Witherspoon recorded his sixth double-doubles of the season. Justin Morrisey recorded his second-straight 20+ point game. Morrisey finished with a game-high 21 points to go with six rebounds while hitting two of six three-point attempts. Witherspoon scored 18 points to go with 14 boards. Jaden Arrington added 12 points and five rebounds.

Prince George's led by three at halftime, 35-32, and outscored FCC by one in the second half, 39-38.

The Cougars held a 43-39 advantage in rebounds in the game. They are back in action Saturday in a home Region 20 divisional game against Community College of Beaver County.
