“Frederick Community College was a welcome transition from high school into the college workload and mindset for me. It was a great place to meet new people, experience different types of learning, explore different class settings and interact with unique professors and coaches. Not only did I experience that in the classroom but on the softball field as well; my coaches and teammates were just as memorable and essential to the learning process. FCC provided all the outlets I needed to succeed on an academic and athletic level, for which I will always be thankful. With the goal in mind to transfer to a larger university, FCC was an essential steppingstone on that path that ultimately lead me to a bachelor’s degree, and for that I thank my parents for their encouragement and support, and FCC for providing such a learning basis to grow upon.”
